In which I follow-through:
Geezy! I almost missed my deadline on this!
I’m still hoping to get this posted before midnight so it counts for today.
Because I really, really, really want to follow-through.
In which I fill you in:
Based on the “My Three Words 2014” deal, I promised you I would sing every Saturday. “Sing” is one of the three words I decided to focus on this year.
Recording it for your listening pleasure is proof of my “follow-through: ~ which is, of course, another of the three words I chose.
I now consider you “filled in”.
In which I admit to being tardy:
I never got around to recording myself last Saturday. So for this weekend, I offer two spectacular songs.
By “spectacular” of course I mean “sad”, and by “songs” I mean “warbling”.
When one is tardy, does it still count as “follow-through”?
I say yes.
In which I sulk:
Don’t tell me how much I suck. I’m not a singer, you guys. I carry a tune “all right”, but that’s pretty much “it”.
I’m not singing for YOU; I’m singing for ME.
I’m not recording myself in hopes of getting a contract; I’m posting this as public proof of follow-through on one of my goals this year.
All cruelty will be deleted at my discretion.
And then I shall sulk.
In which I finish off:
mmm-kay. That’s all I got.
I’m accepting suggestions for next week, although I already have a couple in mind, just in case you losers fail me.
Just kidding. You aren’t losers.
Well, most of you aren’t, anyway.
I’m finished now.
